Connecting stores your SteamID, your game library and your playtime, and uses them for your own pages and for aggregated audience statistics. Disconnecting deletes all of it. There is no separate consent tickbox: pressing Connect is the consent, which is why this line says what it covers.

Steam decides what it shows us, and it has two switches. In Steam → Edit Profile → Privacy Settings set Game details to Public, and untick Always keep my total playtime private — with that box ticked the library arrives with every game at zero hours.
